Anti-Phospho-MSK1 (S360) antibody

MSK1 is a protein encoded by the RPS6KA5 gene which is approximately 89,8 kDa. MSK1 is localised to the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is involved in activated TLR4 signalling, ERK signalling and RET signalling. It is a serine/threonine-protein kinase that is required for the mitogen or stress-induced phosphorylation of the transcription factors CREB1 and ATF1 and for the regulation of the transcription factors RELA, STAT3 and ETV1/ER81. It also contributes to gene activation by histone phosphorylation and functions in the regulation of inflammatory genes. MSK1 is widely expressed with high levels in heart, brain and placenta. STJ91293 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This primary antibody specifically binds to endogenous MSK1 protein which only binds about S360 when S360 is phosphorylated.
