PRMT9 Homogeneous Assay Kit

The PRMT9 Homogenous Assay Kit is designed to measure the activity of PRMT9 (protein arginine methyltransferase 9) for screening and profiling purposes. The PRMT9 Homogeneous Assay Kit comes in a convenient format 384-well AlphaLISA® format, with enough purified recombinant PRMT9, S-adenosylmethionine, primary antibody, SAP145 (amino acids 401-550) and buffers for 400 enzyme reactions.Figure1: Illustration of the assay principle.First, the PRMT9 enzyme is pre-incubated with the inhibitor, and the substrate mixture is added to the wells to initiate the methyltransferase reaction. Next acceptor beads, a highly specific primary antibody directed against methylated peptides, and donor beads are added, and Alpha-counts are measured.
